One of the top thrifting items I'm always looking for is a vintage paint-by-numbers! They seem to be so out of reach (or very odd) I've only managed to find two so far. My first you can see in the banner then the second just recently at the beach which is a deer by the river velvet paint-by-numbers. So recently I hung up my first one in the living room again and it has me wanting to search even more!

The cats are adorable! I think if I ever find one I'm going to keep it for if I have a girl or maybe just hang it up in the living room until then lol.

I know! I love them and I can NEVER find them. Some bloggers have huge collections I envy. I found my first one yesterday but it's really small and simple. I keep just making my rounds at the thrift stores hoping one day I'll hit big :)
ReplyDeleteI rarely see them too. This monthly antique show is where I got my first but I've had a hard time finding anymore. There were a pair (in one of the buildings) but they were winter theme and very expensive. When I go into any kind of thrift/antique store I always go straight for the home decor in hopes of finding one. Good luck with your search!!

paint by numbers are so awesome. that whole wall of them is amazing too. have you red katie's pencil box? she drew a huge mural on her sons while that was a paint by numbers and it was fantastic! i want that in my house some day!

I know I seen a few done on Design Sponge so one of them might have been hers but I'll double check. I think that would be so neat to put in the house! Especially a craft room or a odd wall (like a wall to separate a the living room an kitchen/dinning room)
