Alright round two of the beach trip photos! Wednesday we headed to downtown Wilmington and took the ferry. Though after the ride over we decided we'd take another way back instead.
I hadn't been in the downtown area in six years and it has definitely grown..sadly some stores I wanted to visit from the last time were not there any more :( It was rather hot so I didn't get too many photos
We found a spot called the point at the end of the island. It is where the ocean and the inter-coastal water way meet so there was more of a current than ton of waves.
I loved the area because I saw so much more ocean life. A crab just shuffled on shore and Dustin caught it with the net. We let him go because the poor thing only had one big claw. There some small islands that were covered in seagulls and some chilled on the banks where we were. The water was so clear on that side I saw a little hermit crab scurry in the low tide. The one funny thing that happen there was Dustin got his toe pinched in the water by a little crab after him and Derrick (my Mom's husband) were talking about Sharks.
