I had bought these mug hooks for another project but thought it'd be neat to use them as mug hooks. It was rather easy and it worked great with my Ikea shelf. I planned on hanging my handmade mugs but the handles were too wide for the hooks and I didn't want them to break. Instead I hung up my dainty mugs I got for $1 and the owl mug my mother found at the thrift store. I hate having empty spaces so I filled the two empty hooks with a few snowman mugs from a set until I get more to hang up :) I'm slowly marking things off my project to do list as long as I get most of them done before this year ends I'll be a happy crafter.
This is so cute Amber! I am kind of in love with that owl mug though so I might recent you for a while cause I am so jelly!

ReplyDeleteLauren- Thanks! We rent but the people don't mind us hanging stuff as long as we fix it before we leave. Though that's about the only thing we can do; I'd really like to paint the walls but we're not really allowed :( Renting and be a downing on doing cute stuff sometimes.
